It is with great pleasure that we present the 34th edition of the University Research Scientific Days. This annual scientific activity has become a key event at our Centre. The Scientific Days allow graduate students to present the results of their research projects while also offering them the opportunity to exchange and share with members of the Institute’s scientific community.

The “My Project Explained in 180 Seconds” competition is back. This year, each oral presentation must also be accompanied by a scientific poster, which will also be evaluated. A separate prize will be awarded for the best poster in this category, regardless of the oral performance. The 2025 edition will include 26 classic oral presentations of 10 minutes each, 20 popularized oral presentations of 180 seconds, and about one hundred poster presentations. The event will take place at the Pavillon Alphonse-Desjardins of Université Laval on October 16 and 17, 2025.

The Scientific Days are also an opportunity to highlight the excellence and quality of students’ work through the awarding of prizes for presentations. The event will conclude with a Recognition Evening at the Séminaire de Québec, where prizes for the best presentations in each category will be awarded.
