About the Speaker
Ms. Christine Cloutier holds a bachelor’s degree in theology and a certificate in psychology. She also completed graduate-level training in health ministry. Ms. Cloutier has been a spiritual care practitioner for over 18 years in various hospital settings, including pediatrics, rehabilitation, acute care, long-term care, and mental health. She has been a professional coordinator in long-term care and mental health for four years. Additionally, she has served as an interim planning, programming, and research officer and as a professional practice development officer in spiritual care at the CHU de Québec.
Ms. Cloutier played an active role in developing the Paradigm for Accompanying Persons in Long-Term Care. She is currently collaborating on research dedicated to developing a model for supporting individuals in long-term care living with significant neurocognitive disorders through a sensory-memory approach. Ms. Cloutier has delivered about ten presentations at conferences in Quebec and Europe.
