About the Speakers
Dr. Quoc Dinh Nguyen is an internist-geriatrician and clinician-researcher at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Montréal (CHUM) and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from McGill University. Dr. Nguyen is particularly interested in geriatrics as a complex discipline, with a focus on the heterogeneity of older adults. His research includes work on frailty measures, clinical operationalization, clinical decision-making, and big data.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Commission de l’éthique en sciences et technologie du Québec, a collaborator for L’Actualité, and co-founder of the Community of Practice for Physicians in Long-Term Care Facilities
