We will have the privilege of welcoming Dr. Arline-Aude Bérubé, neurologist at the CHUM, for our next CIME Thursday on August 28!
Dr. Bérubé will present on the topic of functional cognitive disorders:
Title: “Doctor, I’ve lost my memory”
Subtitle: Metacognitive disorder or neurodegenerative disease?
Objectives:
Explain a functional cognitive disorder using the predictive brain theory
Distinguish symptoms suggestive of a metacognitive disorder from those of a neurodegenerative cognitive disorder when they occur simultaneously
Identify attitudes to adopt to prevent a metacognitive disorder
