CRCQ’s annual congress (Club de Recherches Cliniques du Québec)

2026-10-07 - 2026-10-09

Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure, and in my capacity as the 67th President of the CRCQ and representative of the Université de Montréal, that I invite you to the CRCQ Annual Meeting, which will take place from Wednesday, October 7 to Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Manoir Saint-Sauveur in St-Sauveur.

By way of background, the CRCQ was founded in 1958 by Dr. Jacques Genest, who was also the founder of the IRCM and the FRQS. Although initially focused on clinical research, the CRCQ Annual Meeting now brings together researchers from fundamental, preclinical, and clinical disciplines. It has become the largest French-speaking scientific meeting in Canada dedicated to promoting the dissemination of knowledge and advances in biomedical research.

The CRCQ meeting is a prime opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Quebec and share your research in a relaxed and collegial atmosphere. This year, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Stéphane Angers, Director of the Donnelly Centre and Professor at the University of Toronto, as our invited speaker.

Registration and abstract submission are available via our website:
https://crcq.ca/congres-edition-2025/
https://crcq.ca/soumission-des-resumes/

The submission deadline is May 22 at midnight.

Over $6,000 in prizes will be awarded to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students during the conference.

Students are encouraged to indicate their interest in participating in the competitions:

  • Graduate students (Master’s and PhD): Hans Selye Award (poster) and Jacques Genest Award (oral presentation)
  • Undergraduate students who have completed a research internship and will present a poster: Rising Star Award

We look forward to welcoming many of you and wish you an excellent day.

Mathieu Ferron
President, Scientific Advisor and Secretary
