The Quebec Network of Student Pain Researchers (RQECD) is proud to announce the 9th edition of PAINtalks, which will take place on November 7th at 6:30 PM (EDT) in a hybrid format, live from Gesù in Montreal. Registration is mandatory, and we hope to see many of you there!

This bilingual, free, and open-to-all initiative is inspired by “TED-style” talks and aims to provide the audience with simplified presentations accessible to the general public. The speakers are tasked with discussing controversies and advancements in the field of pain. Simultaneous translation services will be offered both on-site and remotely.

In person – Seats are available at Gesù to attend PAINtalks 2024 in person.

Online – To ensure a high-quality viewing experience, we need an estimate of the number of online participants to adjust our streaming platform. Please register as soon as possible.

In collaboration with the Quebec Pain Society (SQD), PAINtalks will be followed the next day (November 8th) by the annual SQD conference, titled “Intervening wisely from acute to chronic pain,” which will be held at the Pierre-Péladeau amphitheater at CHUM.
